Friday Night Fun with The Roobs

Condolences to The Bittersweet Kicks who have had a death in the family and consequently won't be making it to Tassie to Play this Friday night, October 21.
The Roobs will still be there (the show must go on!), backed up by The Demotions and a surprise mystery opening act (its such a mystery i don't even know who yet! Mystery? it's shrouded in the shit! real cloak 'n' dagger stuff! no kiddin'!)

Man, I love this weather today! reminds me of bein' 18 years old, when all the girls were pretty, ya never had to get up early for work & ya got change from 5 bucks for a six pack.
Anyhoo, hope to seeya Friday night and we'll do our best to make you feel like that too.

Next Gig

Howdy all,
our next gig is October 21 at The Brisbane Hotel with The Bittersweet Kicks.
As far as I know we'll be on earlier, so this is a perfect op for those of you who miss our shows 'coz its past your beddie-byes time.
On top of that, this will likely be our last show this year. We're takin' a break to put together a new set.
Our lovely bass player reckons the Bittersweet Kicks are a cool band, and she's a woman of some discerning taste.
More info on this gig next week anyway.

Triple J's Hottest 100 Australian Albums of all time?!!

Hi everyone!
 I wasn't surprised to see that the Triple J's Hottest 100 Australian Albums (of all time?) was full of shit!.............however, I WAS surprised to see just how much shit it ended up being full of!!! :[
I can think of at least 10 albums that deserved to be on there and could pick at least 3X that many that DIDN'T!!! :(

Just popping in to tell y'all what's been happening......We're planning a killer set for the Celibate Rifles show which is next Friday (26/8) at the Brisbane Hotel. It's going to be a great night so if you can make it, I highly recommend it!!! ;)
Also, we started work on a few more originals, and they are starting to sound pretty grand in my opinion. With a little extra work and a few tweaks here and there, I think we might have a couple more classic Trash'n'Roll hits to unveil to the world, so keep dropping by for more insights and updates!!!
